Cap-Pelé is more than a postcard-perfect Acadian village at the seaside - it also happens to be North America’s largest exporter of smoked herring, producing some of the most scrumptious kippers, sardines and bloaters on the continent. Known for its rural charm, Florenceville boasts five covered bridges and claims to be "French Fry Capital of the World" - no small boast in these parts! And not to be outdone, Shediac is the "Lobster Capital of the World". Meanwhile Sussex is the "Covered Bridge Capital of Atlantic Canada" with eight kissing bridges located nearby.
